Lessons at Latrobe University will resume in semester 1 2019 (late February)
Our group lessons are one of the best ways to take part in tennis coaching. Our program lasts for 6 or 12 weeks, with each class following a specific theme and learning module. You’ll learn about all aspects of tennis and meet some great people along the way.
Lessons are available for beginners, intermediate and advanced players. All groups are kept to a maximum of 5 people, allowing you to develop a strong bond with your fellow students while keeping fit and learning tennis.
We also guarantee you receive all lessons that you signup for. If it rains, we simply make the class up at a later day, or allow you to attend an additional class the following week.
Private lessons are a great way to rapidly increase your playing ability. Lessons are booked in casually at a time that suits you, under the instruction the venue’s head coach. We utilize tailored video and biomechanical analysis to give you the opportunity to advanced quicker than your peers.
Cost: $90 per hour lesson (or $45 each when booked with a partner).
Who can play: Private lessons are open to everyone. We can even lend you a racquet if you need.
Cardio tennis is a high intensity workout with tennis racquets to music. Participants undergo fitness based activities, with minimal tennis ability or experience required. A great way to keep fit and enjoy a workout with friends.
These sessions are designed to allow anybody to participate, regardless of level and experience. They typically focus on moving and fitness based activities as you’re hitting tennis balls, with little requirement placed on being able to rally or serve.
Class sizes range from 6-8 participants, and prices are typically cheaper than standard group coaching, where the emphasis is more on technical and tactical development.
Although our programs primarily cater to University students, we do still have options for junior tennis at all of our venues through our partners at Gripping Potential Tennis, who are specialists in the area of junior development.
Junior programs include group hotshots lessons, private lessons and holiday camps.
